Saidah Denise Cotton

Hailing from Harlem, New York, Saidah Denise Cotton is a vocalist who has performed live at Webster Hall, Penn’s Landing, and the National Black Theater. She attended both Stanford University and California Jazz Conservatory although most of her inspiration came from her upbringing. Her father was a self taught pianist, saxophonist and flutist. Denise’s songwriting is inspired by life, love and faith. Most recently, she co-founded The Love Project, an organization launched to mobilize creative women to inspire community building.
