Acknowledged as a Storytelling songstress, poet, songwriter, entrepreneur and educator, Kamilah Mahasin Shuaibe fits the mold as renaissance woman exquisitely. Her most notable collaboration is with bay area band The Radio Blue where she mesmerized crowds as singer and storyteller. Apart from creative pursuits, Kamilah has served as a youth advocate throughout Oakland and owns Nap Turner as a Sister Loctician. Currently, she’s paired with NY vocalist Saidah Denise as co-founder of the organization The Love Project, an interdisciplinary arts platform intended to mobilize creative women to inspire community building.
